A High Court in Ghana, has stopped the planned “FixTheCountry” protest from holding in parts of the country.

The restraining order which was issued by the High Court, presided by Justice Ruby Aryeetey, bars the organisers from holding the protest on Sunday, May 9, or any other date.
A Police source who spoke on the development said: “The High Court, presided by Justice Ruby Aryeetey, has issued a Restraining Order against conveners of a protest march labelled in part or in whole as “FixTheCountry” from embarking on their planned demonstration slated for Sunday, May 9 or any other date until the restriction on public gathering is lifted.
