Nine suspected Internet fraudsters have been ‘harvested’ from their hideout in Minna, Niger State, by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
According to the Commission, the suspects were arrested in an early morning operation on February 22.
It said the arrest by operatives from the Advance Fee Fraud Section, EFCC headquarters, followed credible intelligence on their alleged fraudulent activities.
Items recovered from the suspects were said to include Laptops, phones and cars.
“They will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed, ” the Commission said.
