To unveil newly constructed roads projects in Eleme Kingdom of Rivers State, HRH King Dr Appolus Chu, Oneh-Eh Nchia X Egbere Emere Okori and Ambassador of Eleme Culture, has invited stakeholders to tour the projects financed by himself.

Where most of the new roads are now sited used to be the dangerous dens of kidnappers in the kingdom.
Security Watch Africa is part of the stakeholders invited to go on the tour.
The invitation reads “This is to specially invite you to be a part of the team of selected government representatives and dignitaries who will be on a tour of some of the newly created access roads that the Almighty God has enabled me to open for my community, as my token contribution to national development.
“These new roads are in the Phase Five of roads I have been creating in the hinterlands of my community over the past fifteen years.
“In addition to opening up the hinterlands and curbing the spread of criminality, these roads are further exposing my community and Eleme Kingdom to local and international investment, due to the strategic role Eleme plays in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry as well as it’s proximity to Port Harcourt City.”
The statement said the State Governor, alongside a cream of Federal Government representatives including serving Minsters, Security Chiefs and a selection of traditional rulers from the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria will be on a tour of the roads on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
