KGG Events has formally announced Security Watch Africa Initiatives Network (SWAI Network) as a media partner for the Border Security Week series of events.

The events, according to a statement by Musa Qokolo, Programme Manager, Border Security Week, included Africa Border Security Week and West Africa Border Security Week.
The statement also said that the Border Security Week is a premier series of regional conferences and exhibitions dedicated to strengthening border security and management across the African continent.
“Designed to address the complexities of air, land, and maritime borders, the events bring together government agencies, industry leaders, solution providers, and key stakeholders committed to building safe, secure, and technologically advanced borders.
“Through high-level engagements, exhibitions, and knowledge-sharing, Border Security Week provides a platform to discuss the latest challenges in border management and explore modern solutions, from biometrics and digital identity to migration management and surveillance technologies,” it stated.
As an established and respected voice in the security sector, it noted that the Security Watch Africa’s partnership will amplify the reach and impact of the events.
“The organisation’s extensive influence, audience, and network within Africa’s security and defence community make it a valuable addition to the Border Security Week ecosystem.
“Africa Border Security Week
Africa Border Security Week is a continental platform designed to enhance border operations through smart border control technologies.
“The event convenes C-level executives and senior decision-makers responsible for land, air, and maritime borders.
“It aims to promote collaboration, digitalisation, and innovation to tackle emerging threats and improve border efficiency across Africa.”
According to the statement, West Africa Border Security Week focuses specifically on the needs and priorities of the West African region.
“Similar in structure and purpose to the Africa edition, this event gathers C-level executives and border management leaders from the three border environments to discuss regional challenges and explore technologies that support secure and seamless movement of people and goods.”
Speaking further on the partnership, KGG Events expressed confidence that Security Watch Africa’s involvement will enhance visibility, stakeholder engagement, and the overall impact of both events.
“Security Watch Africa’s partnership marks a new chapter of collaboration aimed at shaping the future of border security across Africa,” it stated.
