A 41-year-old woman, has been arrested by the Roodepan Crime Prevention and Crime Intelligence Unit, with R300, 000 of drugs recovered.
It was gathered that operatives received information of a drug house in Kanana Roodepan in Northern Cape Province and the house was put under surveillance.
According to a Police source, a Warrant of Search was applied for and the house was successfully searched, leading to the recovery.
“During the search, Police found about 128 bankies of Tik , 29 ice packs Tik, 11 full tablets, five halves and four quarters of Mandrax tablets. One packet of Cat and an undisclosed amount of cash were also recovered. The total estimated street value of the drugs is R300 000.
“The 41-year-old woman is charged for dealing in drugs and will appear before the Galeshewe court soon,” the source disclosed.
