It was a national problem-solving platform focused on resolving national security issues using a whole-of-society approach.
This year’s theme, “Family and National Security”, highlighted the critical role family units play in maintaining national security and stability.
The exercise, which was declared open by Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, brought together participants from student officers of Senior Course 47/2024 of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
Others are the Media, Non-governmental organisations, strategic partners, and other professional groups.
The participants, according to a statement by Lieutenant Colonel Olumide Victor Olukoya, College Public Relations Officer, and made available to Security Watch Africa (SWA), will be concluding the exercise with the requisite knowledge on national problem-solving strategies and enhanced inter-agency collaboration in resolving national security issues using a whole-of-society approach.
The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa, is expected to grace the occasion as the Special Guest of Honour alongside other dignitaries.
The closing ceremony holds on Thursday, 2 October 2025, at Air Vice Marshall AO Ogundana Officers’ Mess, Jaji, Kaduna State, (9.00 am) prompt.
