Enugu, Nigeria – The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, has congratulated residents of Enugu State and Nigerians on Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary, assuring them of continued improvement in security across the State.

In a statement on Wednesday by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Daniel Ndukwe, the Commissioner commended residents for their support and cooperation with the Police and other security agencies.
Giwa said sustained community partnership remains crucial to maintaining peace and public safety.
He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to strengthening crime prevention, intelligence-led policing and rapid response to distress situations.
The CP urged residents to remain vigilant, law-abiding and supportive of security efforts.
He wished people of Enugu State and all Nigerians a peaceful and memorable Independence Anniversary, and called for continued unity and collective responsibility in building a safer society.
